Hotel Gruberhof

Very nice and spacious room. We were on our way to Italy and wanted to break up the journey. Just of the motorway so perfect,

Is located in a beautiful area in the mountains. The restaurant is very good

Really great hotel! Has a nice little swimming lake and dock with the beautiful mountains as the backdrop. I stayed here twice on my way through to Italy. Close to the little town and whatever you might need. The staff were very nice and the room was perfect! I highly recommend :)

I stayed here twice on my way from Germany to Italy and back. The rooms are beautiful and also quaint (in a good way :) and there is a beautiful little lake to swim in, right in front of the gorgeous Mountain View. Everyone was so kind to me and spoke great English of course. Also very nice to my dog! And he loved his stay in nature... after being in busy Italy. Had a lovely Riesling at the restaurant in the sun. Not too hot in August! Convenient parking as well. I highly recommend!

Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and had a beautiful outlook over the swimming pond and sun bathing area and valley and mountains. This part was very pleasing. The room had curtains but they are not blockout and no blinds / shutters which in my case means I'm awake as soon as it gets light. The extractor fan in the bathroom is so noisy i didn't want to use any lights at night as to not wake others up. Cleanliness of the room was just fine and well attended to, however the carpets in the hallways are old and stained and simply unappealing. The hallways are unpleasant with dark oyr varnish walls and also poorly lit on sensors that are spaced too far apart. The main way out of the building gets locked at night which i find very problematic in case of a fire as one can't easily get out. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating which we appreciated. Just make sure you get there before 6pm for check-in. Public transport / bus connection to the hotel's closest stop is every 30 minutes, alternatively a few minutes further down in the village the bus goes every 10 minutes during the week. If you have heavy luggage catch a taxi at 17€ from Innsbruck railway station. The hotel is still "sort of" ski in ski out as there is a small lift nearby. The main gondola going up the mountain, however, has been moved further up the mountain and the old one that the hotel had wonderful access to, decommissioned. The new one can be reached by bus.

I visit Innsbruck frequently and had a wonderful time staying at the Hotel Gruberhof. Stephan checked us in and made us feel very welcome, and even gave us an upgrade to a Mountain View room! The view was incredible, and the room very comfortable. We will definitely come back to stay at the Gruberhof!

Very spacious room and beautiful scenery. Arrived around midnight and the key was left as promised. I was surprised that the check out was at 10am!!!

Stayed at Gruberhof for the second time during a medical conference. Staff is very friendly and the location was perfect because of the ski lift just downhill. Unfortunately this lift is now closed and relocated to a town nearby. The hotel is now located off center which is fine but not ideal. Hotel is fine but simple. Breakfast is very complete with an arrange of fresh bread and spreads. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall an enjoyable stay and will be back for a third time!

Arrived after a gruelling Journey on a motorbike arrived late at the hotel 20.30. but there was no lights on nowhere to enquire. It was only by luck that we spoke to a lady who was stopping there and she pointed to a small box and said have you looked in there. There was a key with my name on it. There was no ware to get something to eat and a machine that had RUN OUT OF BEER.. Was not happy.
