Hotel Gruberhof

This family- owned inn/hotel was welcoming with a very comfortable room and great views. It was near Innsbruck in the beautiful town of Igls. I would stay there again as I prefer older Inns/hotels with charm & character. The breakfast was good and the people were friendly.

Amazing location, very clean room and very thoughtful service - they upgraded us for free to a room with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and had great coffee (it’s a rarity) Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night on our road trip to Italy. It's expensive, it smells and is dirty - apparently our Family Room was upgraded, I would hate to see a worse room! The breakfast was rubbish and to top off a the visit to this grim establishment our spare wheel was stolen from the hotel car park, where it was only visible to staff and guests. Please stay somewhere nice and secure instead.

I stayed here with two children for a couple of nights during a road trip of Austria. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from Innsbruck, in the lovely village of Igls. It’s an easy drive, alternatively there seemed to be a very regular bus service and it’s on the city’s tram system as well. The room was spacious, although basic and fairly dated. We had quadruple beds, and they were comfortable. Strangely the curtains didn’t cover all of the windows. The bathroom was also a bit weird (full of cupboards), and the shower didn’t make it easy to get a constant temperature of water. There is a nice little lake to swim in overlooked by a restaurant that served good, reasonably priced meals. Breakfast was the usual array of cereals, meats and breads. It got quite busy. The staff were very friendly. Parking got quite busy outside the front of the hotel, but there were more spaces at the back.

The area is very beautiful and suitable for hiking and cycling, and the hotel has a nice natural pool. However, we just had to use the hotel for a single night and went for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. The room was not worth the money. The bathroom was a tiny plastic box mounted inside the room, and the exhaust sounded loud when someone used the toilet or bath. The room was not the least bit cozy and we had to ask to get new bulbs in all the lamps. We ate in the restaurant and one of us got his main course 20 minutes before the others.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are charming and have everything you need and breakfast has a good selection. The staff are super helpful and always on hand if you need anything. A thoroughly pleasant stay.

This is a basic hotel, basically no frills, but the location is great - easy to get to on public transportation, a 15 minute walk from the slopes, with a bar, sauna, and good breakfast. What really sets it apart is the service - the staff are friendly, warm, sincere, and attentive. Nothing is too much effort. I would absolutely return again.

Great little hotel in quiet village with wonderful access to great ski slopes. Dinner and breakfast were great. Only downside was having to shovel 3 feet of snow in car park after a blizzard hit the area!

Very good location, close to bus stops, supermarket and restaurants. Good size, comfortable apartment for 4 people, handy kitchen, seems new/renewed. Extremely friendly staff, great service.

This hotel is considered to be one of the most distinguished places. It is close to the Innsbruck and the hotel owners are distinguished by the excellent service, the breakfast is great, the staff are very nice, the location is excellent, and the lobby is a great place to swim in a small natural lake, the rooms and the bar are also very harmonious lighting.
