Oia Mare Villas

Oia Mare truly exceeded our expectations. The most perfect spot to watch the sunset and away from the crowds. Private balconies, the pool and rooftop made our stay extra special. The staff couldn’t do more to help you. Carrying luggage up and down stairs in Oia and providing a lovely breakfast each morning. George was fantastic and always on hand to help. We will be back!

We had a quick check in. They arranged our transportation to amd vtom the villa. Snd the porter was strong enough to carry our luggages with all the steps he was a big help. Nice and pleasant staffs, Clean and spacious cave room with jetted tub. The pool was big enough for us, with a partially covered area that protect us from the heat of the sun. Great view of the caldera. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfast was delicious. The villa was walkable to the places we want to go. Quiet and safe place to stay in. Kastro Restaurant is just a few meters away, and Ammoudi restaurants is near. The view from Oia Villa Mare Villa is spectacular. We hang out by the pool everyday enjoying the view of the caldera. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was amazing - the hotel staff were lovely particularly George on the bar ;) who was very attentive and immediately got familiar with our requirements. We very soon got used to the steps which is essential for getting around. Our suite was overlooking the caldera which was quite breathtaking. Our suite was clean and spacious and cool during the day - we received fresh towels every day.

When in Oia you must stay here! It is perfect in every way. We will definitely come back

Beautiful room in a spectacular location. Staff was very helpful. Just be ready to climb a lot of steps in this location.

Loved staying at Oia Mare Villas, the villa itself was clean, spacious and just perfect for my daughter and I. The stunning views were the absolute best thing. The staff, especially George and Ali were extremely helpful and friendly. George makes the most amazing Peach Ice Tea and Ali the porter was very kind in his demanour and climbing up and down all those steps is no mean feat but to do it with luggage is just unbelievable. The steps are the one thing we did not like as much, however the views from atop are so worth it! I would stay there again... even with the steps!

The property itself is beautiful and very clean. The pool was very refreshing after a long day of sightseeing in the Greek heat. If you have mobility problems or are severely short of breath after the slightest physical activity…this property might not be a right choice for you because it is located on the hillside with many steps.

Excellent area, great staff and service. Nice breakfast buffet. If you have any luggage you MUST use the porter service, it’s free, but you must tip the porter well, they deserve it! My advice is if you have more luggage than you need for this stay to pack what you need in a smaller bag. Many, many steps to climb, but this is true of any cliff side hotel.

Pros: beautiful view on the quiet side of Oia Nice big room AC was perfect Porter brings your bags to the room and back to up when you check out. WiFi was pretty good Staff was very nice and helpful with reservations hot tub was a must (amazing view while drinking some wine and relaxing after lots of walking) Cons: Breakfast was repetitive Water went out completely 2 of the 6 days (no way to even take a shower or flush) I do believe this was because of the storm that hit on 24 May 2025 Lots of steps to get to and from the hotel (140ish) mainly down steps getting to the hotel, majority up steep steps leaving the hotel and heading into Oia. You get 2 bottles of water upon arriving but everything else must be purchased even though you cannot drink the water from the tap. I know it sounds like a lot of negatives but the hotel and staff really are fantastic. I also understand the importance of an honest review.
