Casa San Tommaso

Hotel is conveniently located, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's just a few steps from the leaning tower. The rooms are a bit dated though, and the hot water in the shower kept turning itself off. Breakfast is good with plenty of choices, but the eating area is very small. Without the the friendliness of the front desk and the breakfast staff, this would only be a 3 star review.

The breakfast here was amazing! There was a great array of food options. I enjoyed the room and appreciated the size of the bathroom. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked wonders. Also, the front desk was very accommodating. Overall, it was a berry pleasant stay and I would stay again.

Awesome hotel, if we only knew how great this was, we would’ve extended our visit.

The location is the best just minutes walking to leaning tower and the train station

Location, location, location! Casa San Tommaso is inside the city walls, and about 100 yards from the Field of Miracles. The convenience to site seeing was great. We had to pay $9 to park on the street (24 hour permit) in front of the B & B, but that was MUCH better than in a parking lot that lacked security. Our room was on the top floor (3rd floor; no elevator, but that was OK with us). Our room had "character": exposed ceiling beams, plus what looked like brick for our ceiling - the underside of the roof tiles, and a small window that was more like a sky light. The bathroom was sufficient, along with the soap/shampoo/hair dryer. The breakfast was sufficient: cheese, yogurt, cereals, bread, juice, coffee.

A very convenient location for tourist sites and breakfast was a pleasant selection although the eating area was very cramped. Very basic room with sky-light only and extremely dusty wooden roof beams overhead. Rustic feel which had pros and cons. Fresh towels daily and clean and comfy beds which were the important things!

I liked that the tower of Pisa was in walking distance from the hotel. My hotel room was on the top floor, had to carry my luggage up the stairs and my 82 years old mother had to walk up the stairs.

This hotel in in an older building that has evidently been converted. Rooms are small, bathrooms are smaller, and the breakfast was disappointing, particularly after the coffee machine malfunctioned and could not be repaired. However, staff were very helpful and gracious, and the location is superb.

Very close to the leaning tower the baptistery and duomo . Walking the city wall was a great experience
