Locations is good, locates in the city centre, close to everything. Room size is good. Moderately clean. Got an elevator in the old apartment building, which is a surprise.

Don’t like the staff who arranged check ins. A bit rude. Sent too many messages to confirm check ins. The check ins were between 14.00 to 22.00. But the staff keeps texting you to confirm the exact check in times. We arranged check ins at 7.00pm initially and give the staff one hour notice to let the staff know. But then he directly asked us to come after 7.00pm. We had no choice and changed our journey a bit. It’s quite annoying when keep receiving messages on a road trip in the car and causes inconvenience for guests.

Beautiful and tidy rooms, excellent location in a heart of Catania and very helpful, kind hotel service. :)

The description is only partly accurate. It is centrally located. The apartment is 18th century with amazing painted ceilings, and is clean and comfortable. However, the 'included breakfast' was a voucher for a coffee and croissant at a cafe downstairs, and had it been raining would have been impossible. The owner didn't bother to come downstairs to let us go up in the interior lift which required two keys to get in, and we didn't know which floor to go to.There wasn't much information available either. Also no tea and coffee facilities in the room.

"Italian style breakfast" is served in a cafe along the road, and consists of a croissant and a coffee provided on a ticket. No coffee/tea making facilities in room. On arrival, we had to lug our cases up flights of stairs because the owner did not come to the outside door to let us in and use the lift, but stood on top floor shouting she was there. Considerable noise from a busy road. Owner speaks little English and uses a translation app on her phone. Response from owner says we could have used lift, but it requires a key for access to the inside lift, and a key to open the door to the lift. As we had not been let in met the owner, and been given the keys, we could not have accessed it.

It's a little hard to find and doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is amazingly beautiful and comfy. Wonderful service, hospitality. Right by the fish and produce market and local restaurant area. Short walk to castle museum. Would come back for sure!!
