Very friendly staff, nicely decorated and well maintained facility, excellent bed, we slept very well. Our host during breakfast named Shenin was quite a pleasure to talk with. The coffee and tea at breakfast were very good.

A tiny thing was that we had hoped to have a freshly baked Sicilian pastry for breakfast, but we got American-style pastries in plastic.

The guy Shenin on the reception was very nice and helpful.

Wonderful legacy accommodation. Fantastic antique lift with velvet seats, fresco ceiling in lounge. Shenin was very helpful. Kettle and filtered water cooler in guest area. Bed comfortable and bathroom adequate. Fantastic central location. Exceeded expectations for the price.

The place the whole atmosphere - the hotel is just amazing, it's like a museum of its own! The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The personnel is the best I've seen so far in Sicily! Shenin was very kind and helpful! Highly recommend!

Beautiful building and accommodation.

Disappointed about the breakfast as having to go out for a coffee and a pastry to a local shop and feel when we book a bed & breakfast that this should either be made clear when booking as we would prefer to have breakfast in the actual property rather than queue at a busy cafe when the locals and workers are having their breakfast.

The first impression was intimidating, the building was quite ugly, but when we got through the three entrances we were pleasantly disappointed. The common areas are cosy. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Check-in was quick and smooth.I don't understand those who complained about the breakfast. Every country has different eating habits.You could have known in advance that breakfast would not be at the accommodation. There was one meal in the accomodation and the host and her assistant did their best. Special point for the glove,in which they served you. The location of the accommodation was really good, very close to the centre and the central train and bus station were within walking distance. The room was quiet and clean with no street view. The fridge is too small for a large bottle of water. But it didn't matter, because no matter how you turned the switch, it didn't cool. The shower head needs a new gaske.

Clean, great location, safe, let us leave our bags after checking out while we explored Catania. We were there to sleep. Arrived a half hour after check in due to flight delay and we were charged for that. I contacted them multiple times to alert them. They did not respond before we arrived

We loved our stay at Antica Dimora Caruso. The location is great – very central to all main attractions & central bus station. The main road is busy but once you enter the place, it is quiet & calming. The lift up to the B&B was charming – wood panels, lovely smell of polish and red velvet seating – felt like going back in time & the main living room had the same cosy feel. Our room was quiet, very clean with everything we needed and Shenin could not have been more helpful advising us on where to go & to eat – all excellent suggestions. Breakfast on the first day was at a nearby café with regulars chatting away – you really felt like a local ! The following day we had breakfast at the B&B which was great. Would highly recommend visiting here for something memorable from Catania.
