There was a very good choice of buffet breakfast, fruit yoghurt cereals and home made jams for toast. Also very good choice of cooked breakfast including eggs benedict and full english. The hosts were very happy to accommodate choices. The room was intended for 1 and was ideal for 1 as a base to visit family and explore around Harrogate. It had an on suite shower, which was easy to use unlike some others I've come across in my travels. Another convenient feature of the room was the number of hangers in the wardrobe, more than enough. It was only a short walk to the town centre including the train and bus stations , about 5 mins casual walking speed.

The only slight issue was the position of the plugs in my room which were a little awkward to access.

Jan and Mark run a very comfortable and friendly hotel near the centre of Harrogate. There is free parking which is a real boon. Breakfast is a highlight with so much choice of fresh produce and cooked food. The rooms are lovely and homely. We really like how Jan and Mark are always around to help. We have no complaints at all and will return for sure.
