Coach House

Staff membwr behimd the bar was fantastic. She explained the parking, showed us to our room, told us we could bring a take away in, offered us a fan and plates and cutlery. She was smiley, polite and helpful, a real gem for this place. Room was clean.

We didnt know parking was not officially onsite and was actually a council car park behind the building so we had to find parking until this was explained. No food served in the bar that night which was dissapointing. We booked this location as we were doing the 3 peaks walk.and was leaving by 5am. Unfortunately there was a singer in the bar until 11pm which was extremely loud in the room. We had to have the window open due to the heat but we were over the front of the bar and the beer garden so the noise was loud until late so very little sleep for us. Maybe advise of this as people booking a room for early walking start. For aome reason early hours of the morning the fan went off and woke us up. We realised we had no power in the room so we couldnt even have a coffee before we left early. Another couple left early and they experienced the same as us. Such a shame as its a lovely location and the room and lady at bar lovely.

This is a lovely house with great garden ,and lock side access. Very clean and very well equipped kitchen. Also great location for hiking.

Nothing we didn't like.

Loved the location, we were able to have lovely food and drink in the pub. Enjoyed a few drinks elsewhere but back to the hotel within minutes.

Loved everything about the place other than the price of the breakfast, which we declined .

Comfortable pub for overnight stay.
