Average.
We'd stayed at the Hotel before and it has changed, the customer service is fantastic , the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's very quaint and probably won't be everyone. However its clean and has charactor
The rooms are in desperate need of a revamp
Its a pub with rooms not a chain hotel so that's what to expect. Very handy for the town and the nearby air base. No fuss check in or out. Pub area looked good with a mixture of bar area and slightly more relaxed seating area.
Highly recommend! šš»āļøSpacious family room with a fridge and great view! Friendly staff, tasty food, and local shops & eateries were splendid. Perfect spot for a longer stay at Mildenhall with my granddaughter! Not far from the base that is plus!
Easy to find, parking at rear. Staff friendly, check in easy. Hotel side a bit run down, room adequate. Decor and fittings dated but the room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Towels and bedding clean. Bit overpriced for what you get but it served its purpose.
A lovely little building in Mildenhall. Certainly an historic building, and comes with the quirks of its age, but the team has done a brilliant job of adapting and making it up to date. Missing shampoo, and no hair dryer, but the bed was great and the shower fantastic. Kettle and tea bits were all I really needed :-).
The staff are lovely and friendly and they accommodated my request for a quiet room. The check in and out process was quick and easy. I didnāt sleep so well because of noise from the next doorās TV until past midnight but obviously thatās inevitable and not the hotelās fault. The room was spacious and had high ceilings but itās quite tired and needs a facelift- a redecoration, regrouting, a new bathroom light cord etc. It does the job for the night though.
The room that I was located was situated at the back of the hotel. The room was comfortable and a fan was provided due to the very hot weather, which was a great help. The down side.... below my window is the yard which is like a garden and unfortunately got very noisy at times during the evening when customers were out there.
No hot water in the shower, I complained twice and was told it was old plumbing and I needed to time my showers to avoid peak use. The mattress had springs poking out of it. The windows are single glazed and the blinds/curtains are so thin they dont keep any noise or light out. I wont be back.
