Scotsman's Pack Hotel

All I can say is it was ok. the sound of running water kept me awake, but thats partley down to the weather

Wonderful service, good food and great country pub atmosphere

I stayed in the single room, which was perfect for me. I went to bed early and slept right through. There was a good choice for breakfast with generous portions. The staff were lovely. I will definitely stay there again on my own and will also take my friend and stay in the twin room. Recommend.

Lovely pub with easy access to the village. Very good value for money. In line with expectations for rooms in a pub (there was some noise in the morning as they set up). The breakfast was excellent. Comfortable bed. Shower wasn't the best but ok. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The food and friendliness of the Scotsmans Pack Hotel was excellent. Our room (4) however was very small, shower had little power and a bedside table each side would have been useful. However, we had a very enjoyable stay and would return but not in Room 4!

Pros: Well-appointed though small room. Delicious Bakewell pudding on arrival. High-quality TV Excellent breakfast included Good price Cons: Noise from kitchen fans or compressors plus noise of water in pipes was disturbing.

Exactly as advertised. Comf and clean room, super welcome, tasty cooked bfasts, cheerful, efficient and helpful pub team. Will return for sure.

Oldie worldy and friendly staff. Would rate it at 3 to 4 star.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Lovely location, really friendly and helpful staff and food was delicious, room was clean and comfortable but couldn't get normal channels on the tv (but that might be just me not being able to work it properly) a little bit noisy but it is a pub and didnt bother me.
