The Fishbourne - Isle of Wight

Friendly and warm welcome on arrival, beautiful setting, fabulous food and comfortable beds. Short walk from a small shingle beach from which there are great views across the Solent. Peaceful surroundings and right next to the costal path for lovely walks.

I signed my car licence number in on arrival however I was sent a parking ticket for £50 after arrival home! My husband paid it assuming I had made a mistake but my sister who was with me has corroborated the fact that I did register. Not happy about that at all.

Location and food

The breakfast was fantastic. Location was ideal and very relaxing.

The tv could have been a bit bigger.

Great food, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Location very conveniently close to the ferry. We were by bicycle and were able to store the bikes safely. Friendly staff.

The staff were lovely, the girls really friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was super.

The bedroom/bathroom bit grotty and def needed a deep clean/freshen up. The hotel Is situated in amongst houses and the neighbours dog woke us up barking every morning from its garden next door. You literally drive off the ferry and it’s next to the carpark.

This is our second stay at The Fishbourne. Special thank you to Dave and his team for looking after us so well again. The whole stay was relaxing and comfortable, and breakfast was awesome , as usual.... just what we needed after each day at the Festival! The Fishbourne is a lovely pub both inside and out with great space and garden outside and great food. The rooms are clean , with a large and comfortable bed and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking directly outside, which we didn't need as we were foot passengers. All in a peaceful and quiet setting. Only a few minutes walk from the Ferry Terminal and Festival buses. Fantastic! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting The Island and already looking forward to our next breakfast !!!
