Meadowlea Guest House

We had a lovely stay at Meadowlea Guest House. We felt very safe and comfortable with the social distancing and hygiene practises Mark and Lesley had put in place at this time. The room was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend and stay again ourselves.

The room is very clean and quiet. Car has to be parked on the street outside the guest house.

This is arguably the best guest house that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. I was on business for only one night. However, my room was very spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and I had an excellent night sleep. The bathroom was just right and with good provision of toiletries. I asked for poached eggs for breakfast and they were cooked to perfection. Excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again. If you're thinking about staying in the area, I would strongly recommend that you also stay there.

Everything had been thought of with regard to facilities. There wasn't anything we needed to bring with us. The proprietors were very friendly and very helpful. They made us most welcome it was as if we were staying with friends.

We spent 3 nights at Meadowlea. The room was lovely and clean, very comfortable with tea and coffee daily. Mark & Lesley are very good hosts and were there for any needs we had. We were able to store bikes and breakfast was plentiful. The guesthouse is on the edge of Dartmoor so perfect for walking and cycling. Also the town is 5 mins away. The local library is very good and there are places to eat.
