The location, grounds, food, and service were perfect. The room layout, linens, and bathroom were clean. However, the carpet and bathroom had a slight stench.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Our shuttle was delayed 8 hours and they made sure we had dinner when we arrived (close to midnight!). They also helped arrange local transport and gave excellent activities advice. You cannot get any closer to the cloud forest entrance, which meant we could go on several walks a day. Great staff, location, and atmosphere!

We had an amazing stay. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are beautiful along with the grounds. Easy access to area attractions. Wonderful food and dining onsite. Staff gave recommendations of area sights. Will definitely come back.

There are some leaks in the room and water being dipping when there is heavy rain. Other than that place is awesome and people working there are amazing and nice breakfast as well. Bit away from monteverde city or the other attractiona but it's very quite and peaceful

Very close to Monteverde cloud forest(what we went for). We found Trapp family lodge to be very beautiful. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

A great place to base yourself out of when visiting Monteverde. You can walk to the cloud forest and the front desk will help you organize any other activities you want to do. The rooms are spacious and clean and the people working there are kind and attentive!
