This is a wonderful place to relax. Provides peace and privacy. No elevators. Try to use a wheeled luggage as the way to the rooms is ways up from the lobby. Also, it would be nice to have a USB charger on the night table. Restaurant serves excellent food.

This was a great property with easy access to the Curi-Cancha and the Monteverde Biological Reserve. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and all 3 of us LOVED our meals both nights. The rooms are comfortable, large, good bedding, showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash plus hairdryer. The breakfast is included and was very good, with fresh orange juice, or other juices. We both had the Breakfast Tipico which I love, but they had pancakes, French toast. I highly recommend the Desayuno Tipico which has gallo pinto, scrambled eggs, cheese, grilled tomatoes and sautéed plantains (bananas). Very good. The location is perfect if you’re birding. The staff is very friendly with a fabulous happy hour 4-6:00 with 2xwines for $7, 2xbeers for $7, liquor 2x for $8. It is a very friendly place to stay with friendly staff who are very accommodating. We highly recommend it.

This beautiful property is a stones throw from the Cloud Forest Reserve and provides you a feeling of being immersed in the natural habitat. Great helpful staff and a great convenient dining experience.

You screwed me. I had no intention to go to Costa Rica. Was booking a room in Stowe Vermont. Your website put up Trapp family lodge. Which is in Stowe Vermont. You pulled the bait and switch. And charged me to stay in Costa Rica. I’m considering joining class action lawsuit against your shady booking practices

Nice accommodation, quiet with cool porch area overlooking cloud forest. Although resort is close to the national park, it is far away from dining options and where most tours leave from (ziplining, hanging bridges, night tours, etc). Also thought the hotel was very expensive.
