Very friendly staff, great breakfast and evening meal.

The ramp on the way in to the car park is a bit aggressive for lower cars.

Just about everything. Quality of food, beer, staff etc etc all excellent

We had one problem that would be difficult to resolve. Our room was baking hot due to heatwave that pub has no control over but we couldn’t have the window open because of the noise from kitchen extracts directly outside so sleep very difficult

While the stay was very comfortable and staff were very friendly, the property is showing signs of wear and tear but we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend the property.

Lovely rooms and friendly staff.

Food menu could do with an overhaul with a greater variety to cater for smaller dishes and appetites rather than just typical ‘pub grub!’

Room was clean and the staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. Evening meal in the bar was great as well.

The food was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and attentive even with my very demanding time schedule. It’s in a very quiet location and I will definitely stay again when the opportunity comes. However the beds need addressing but the rooms are fully equipped, and the tea, coffee, Hot chocolate and biscuits are a nice touch.

The bed that I slept in above the restaurant was lumpy, uneven and felt like I was sleeping on a speed hump or a farm track. On top of this the covers felt like plastic and caused me to over heat and sweat, then I would move to the other side of the bed and then get to cold. The room itself was lovely for my needs. The bed mattress and bedding needs replacing. Other than the bed I have no faults.
