Everything was amazing from the hosts to the rooms and overall experience! We'd been travelling on our motorbike and stopped here, parking was great. Loved every minute of it!

Gorgeous clean hotel with lots of provision. Hosts were fantastic, super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options and items from local suppliers.

Everything was exceptional, Kim and Trevor are amazing hosts, the attention to detail outstanding. The freshly baked scones with jam and cream a lovely touch and very delicious, highly recommended would definitely stay again

We stayed at Elmdene in August 2024 and were thoroughly impressed. The property was spotlessly clean, and hosts Trevor and Kim made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and had everything we could possibly need, including a well-stocked tea and coffee station, chilled water, and snacks. The ensuite bathroom was immaculate, and the luxurious toiletries, high-end towels, and plush bathrobes were a lovely touch. The super comfy king-size bed ensured a great night's sleep, and after staying in several places on our two-week tour, Elmdene undoubtedly offered the best breakfast of the trip. Trevor and Kim's breakfast was exceptional, served with a pot of coffee that was actually hot — a small but very appreciated detail! The property also offers onsite parking, and it's within easy walking distance of the seafront and central Torquay, making it a perfect base for exploring the Torbay area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Elmdene!

Bed was a little uncomfortable, but we are used to a memory foam

breakfast was marvellous plenty of choice bedroom very spacious opened a door to find our own little lounge bathroom big lovley shower hospitality tray had every thing on it you required including biscuits and chocolates janice and trevor were brillliant could not do enough came in one day to find home made scone with jam and cream for us and coming home janice gave us extra water as we went in the heat wave will defoe be back next year.
