Villa degli Ulivi

The garden and view.

It was great view but really loud since it was located off the coast side of the road too much traffic all night and all day.

The place was nice and had a good view, but there were lots of ants everywhere, especially on the countertop in the kitchen. and the air conditioner was leaking the whole time in the main bedroom, so we had to turn it off most of the time and put a few towers on the floor. Also, the front desk lady who helped us to check in could have been more kindly. It wasn't worth enough to stay there. I would not go back there in the future.

Nice spot opposite a little beach with easy access. Good sized, spacious rooms. We appreciated being closer to the beach and also having a pool, rather than being in the centre of town. There is a path behind the properly to walk up a hill into town (its steep but we did it every day and it was fine! Also a bus). The hotel had a nice outdoor space and chill out area.

As the property is along the road leading into town, we could hear some cars at night. The windows are thick and there is shutters, but you could hear a bit of noise from the street. This didn't really effect our sleep.

It was very clean, rooms were a good size and the air conditioning worked well. The swimming pool was clean and offered superb sea view.

The location was a challenge with children as it’s on a continuously very busy road that lacked pavement. Walking to either the bus stop (only 5 minutes) or train station (10 minutes) felt unsafe at times. Without a car you are reliant on the buses (frequent but very busy) or taxis (ours overcharged).

The villa was perfect, so beautiful and relaxing the Managers were lovely people very accomodating. We couldn't fault the accomodation at all, very clean and well maintained with a lovely refreshing pool.

The location is tricky as the road is very busy and dangerous to walk along, you need to be careful at all times especially as we had children with us and didn't want to drive all the time. The water sometimes in the shower and kitchen sink would just disappear, I don't know why it was very low pressure at times.

That the aircon was controlled by a key which meant you couldn't keep the room cool when not there and also the locked gate meant you couldn't split up as a family No kettle

The villa is nice and easily accessible. We could find easily a place in front of the house to park our car. The room is big, we had a separate Bedroom and 2 bathrooms. There was a small kitchen well equipped. The terrasse had some tables where you can enjoy eating and watching the sea. The kids enjoyed the pool which has also a nice view on the sea and also on the beautiful olive trees. The city center is not far from the house but you would need to go either by car or by bus as it’s on the top of the hill. You can reach “Isola Bella” by foot but you would need to walk a bit. There is also a rocky beach nearby.

Great location and facilities! Even got some free apricots fresh from the tree from the lively grounds keeper!

Not me issue for us, but you’ll need a car.

Loved the view, the pool, the terrace and the rooms. Also the location was good , not very touristy. Rosie and Gaetano were super helpful. Enjoyed watching the yachts and cruise sips from the pool and our room.

The traffic on the road was very fast and at times it was difficult to park on the street. It was typical Italy.
