"Terrible. Traveler be aware. "

2.0

Absolutely horrendous, we checked in and quickly realized that this hotel has done a good job manipulating how it looks in terms of the photos they have. The property was full of trash, the wood on our veranda/balcony deck was in such bad condition that a piece broke as we stepped on it. We walked around the property a bit more and decided that we couldn't stay. We tried to talk to Hotels.com about a refund but to no avail. We booked another hotel and still had to pay for this one. Just terrible.

"Located close to ferry on Savaii"

6.0

The buildings we were in did not resemble those in the photo at all. We booked a more expensive room by the water but got a ground level room in a concrete block set back. Disappointing. The good points were hot water for showers and friendly staff.

"Cool experience, but big insect problem"

4.0

Lusias Lagoon Chalets offers a cool lagoon/jungle accomodation experience. We stayed in the lagoon chalets, which are very basic, but do offer a cool over the water experience. The upsides were the lagoon for swimming, snorkelling and kayaking, good, affordable food and a nice view in our chalet. The downside was the room and comfort. I had no problem with the room being basic (light, one power socket), but i feel a little more could be invested to get the room up to scratch, such as a broom to sweep out sand from the path, new mosqito nets to replace the holes in ours, and insect screens on windows (the windows had chicken wire and large gaps). Another suggestion would be a plug in repellent for insects. Our stay was very uncomfortable. The room was very warm without any fan or air-conditioning. The mosquito nets had many holes, which we tried patching with bandaids. Over our two night stay, i received over 70 insect bites on one arm alone, and more elsewhere on my body. This was with us covering ourselves with insect repellent before bed and having a citronella coil burning in the corner of our room. Shared bathrooms had faulty doors and could be seen from the restaurant. Id recommend staying here for the experience, but opt for the more comfortable options with insect screens and air-conditioning. Dont go for the lagoon chalets if you have a problem with insects or warm sleeping.

"Lovely and quiet place near the Lagoon."

8.0

Was very pleasantly surprised with the accomodation we stayed in at Lusia's, passed expectations. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming & kayaking facilities. Would highly recommend to families looking for a quiet but fun filled place to stay. The only negative I would say is probably prices of meals versus quality. Very nice but would cost alot for family of 4 to eat there everyday. Although shops are within walking distance, it can be very long in the heat so perhaps stock up on some items before arriving. Other then that, we had a lovely time & highly recommend to travellers looking for a quiet & relaxing place to stay

"Not worth the money"

2.0

The room we received was not the room we had booked and paid for. None of the “chalets” looked like the pictures advertised and the rooms were extremely basic. Our bathroom had an amount of mould on the tiles in the shower and on the walls and there was also a clump of someone’s hair on the soap holder making it obvious it was not cleaned at all.

"Family room is big, but has traffic noise"

6.0

We were very pleased with the very spacious family room with air condition and tiled floor. But disappointed to find out that the building is just next to the main road. People who treasure quiet nights should book one of the chalets on the lagoon- Camille looked like the top option to me from the outside. We were happy to be allowed to cook our own dinners in the restaurant kitchen- that was much appreciated. The staff were all very joyful and fun to be with. I was disappointed, though, when I left my swimming trunks behind after going for a swim just before leaving, and was told on the phone later that day, that it was nowhere to be found.

"Very beautiful but basic!"

6.0

It is in a beautiful location we stayed in a fale and had an incredible view of the lagoon. But the bathroom is shared and it has no light so you need a torch and no hot water. The staff ate very friendly and are willing to help you out. The free breakfast is a bit of a joke very basic and very few options if you want anything of substance you'll have to pay extra. But had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone for one or two night much longer is a bit much we had 5 nights booked but left on the 4th as we needed a not shower the the mosquitoes were getting to us so make sure you take lots of mosquito repellent
