"Friendly Staff and good Price/Value"

8.0

Pleasant stay in the middle of a jungle forest. Rooms a bit dark since they are in the middle of the forest. No free wifi. Great place for swimming in the sea. No sand beach - just a fun ladder to go into the water... very pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff and delicious food for reasonable prices.

"Basic but good cheap accomodation"

6.0

Enjoyed our stay, however found the shared toilets and showers to be very dirty and in bad condition. We stayed in chalet Anne which is one of the lagoon chalets. Very basic just a room with a deck, bed and two chairs. Definitely take mosquito spray with you as we got eaten alive by mosquitos even though we had the net down the whole night. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Overall service was great but the toilet facilities could do with a clean up and upgrade. If I went again I'd definitely get a room with an ensuite.

"peaceful, comfortable, friendly, beautiful"

8.0

Thank goodness we went to Savai'i and stayed here. Although not 'luxury' accommodation we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The staff are so friendly, helpful, caring and approachable. We felt very welcome from the start. Our room (garden view) was spacious, clean, bright and had everything we needed for us and our children (2 & 5 yrs), big fridge, aircon, hot shower with great pressure, jug with tea and coffee, insect screens over the windows. The view from our room was stunning and we found it quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Lots of space for us to shelter from the monsoon type weather we experienced at times. In walking distance there is a supermarket and also a souvenir market. It's not far from the ferry terminal (2min taxi) and a great base if you rent a car like we did to explore the island. The lagoon is wonderful although not so suitable for our young girls but they loved the rock pool and paddling around the edge of the lagoon. The only thing I would have liked was non-slip mats outside the rooms as the tiles were dangerously slippery and my kids took a few falls. The fale on the lagoon look interesting for those wanting a unique experience, but I personally enjoyed the comforts of the garden 'hotel' rooms.

"Beautiful scenery, lovely room"

10.0

Lusias is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was over the water, we had a ladder from our own deck, so that we could slip straight into the wonderful turquoise, refreshing, clear water whenever we wanted. The view is stunning. The staff we so lovely and helpful, calling us by name, making our stay memorable. I had 2 great massages, so relaxing and in the perfect spot by the lagoon, thank you Rosa. I will and have already recommended Lusias to anyone who will listen.

"Very friendly staff and lovely view"

8.0

The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the units was lovely and it was very pleasant sitting out on the balcony looking out over the lagoon. The rooms were spacious. Food at the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. There is no swimming pool and the natural spring and the lagoon itself were difficult to get into if you are not so young any more. The place is in a lovely leafy setting and the restaurant is shady and cool, which is a huge advantage. We had a relaxing holiday, which is just what we wanted. Reading, talking, being warm in the middle of winter, a bit of walking, swimming and sightseeing.

"Beautiful resort in a beautiful place!"

10.0

We had a fabulous stay at Lusia's and all of the staff were wonderful and very helpful. We ate all of our meals at the hotel restaurant and everything was delicious and it is such a relaxing atmosphere. We had a second story room with a beautiful view of the lagoon and cool breezes at night. Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Samoa which had many highlights!! The room was very clean and spacious and you have easy access to the beautiful lagoon. There is not much of a beach to speak of but really the attraction is swimming in the lagoon. A very special place!!!

"Nice hotel close to the beach "

6.0

I think to stay in fare beyond the beach will be very good experience. But the little house behend is not bed, really quiet in the night. Room clean and staff nice. I played kayak and looked sunset there. All good. Nice place.
