Lusia's Lagoon Chalets

Found the location fantastic, but the ocean front chalet we had was set back in the trees, and with 3 in the room met you had to get changed on the deck. Hadn't realised this when booking. Complained, and asked for another room. Took forever to get this sorted (Ie. from 8am in the morning until 2pm in the afternoon). The staff just did not seem to care. Often the hotel staff and outsiders would come and play pool. Felt this was a little unprofessional in front of paying customers.

We travelled and stayed in 3 different places on Savaai, Lusia's was one of our favourites. It's set in an amazing location with fales over the lagoon and some set back in the gardens. It was great to have a choice of food, which was well priced and satifising. We had use of a kayak which is launched from the deck and explored the lagoon. The rock pools looked very inviting but we just ran out of time. I can highly recommend Lusia's, keeping in mind that accommodation on Savaai is basic at the best of times, if you like camping then this is a good place to start.

Over all it was a really nice place ! Staff were very helpful and polite , if you need a internet hot spot go to the local town and buy an hour for 15 tala !! And you can use it at the resort ,As its 70 tala per hour if you buy at the resort , it pays to hire a car and travel the island as its a fun way to see things in your own time. .

The best lagoon & rainforest you could ever stay in. 5 mins drive from ferry terminal, 5 mins drive to local store, market and ATM. Prefect location, beautiful atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and great service. Breakfast Dinner always served hot and fresh. Refreshing drinks and cocktail at bar. Rock pool was always great way to cool off and jumping off deck in lagoon was fun experience. Make sure you put on your repellent if staying in lagoon fale with shared facilities, enjoy spectacular lagoon view and sunset. Garden fale with air condition and own shower/ toilet was clean & comfortable. Will difinitly be returning to Lusia's Lagoon Chalets with family and friends.

The Lusia´s lagoon chalet staff has a wonderful approach and they are very helpful, friendly and always smiling and positive. This made our stay truly exceptional. Customer care is number one priority at Lusia´s lagoon chalet. Strongly recommended for everyone. It is not a 5 star hotel but can bring you enjoyment you need to relax and unwind. Be careful about the room choice, the level of comfort changes drastically according to the room type but if you are an adventurous type, you will not be disappointed at any case. Thank you Lusia´s!

Staff were really good. Always smiling and very helpful. Owner of the hotel, Tim, was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and recommend everyone to go for this hotel. Really close to Savaii Ferry Terminal, Shops and local market. Walking distances.

AWSEOME!!! Great place and friendly people. Savaii is a lovely island, if you go you must rent a car for a couple of days (not that expensive and you see so much!!) Lagoon was incredible with snorkelling and safe and warm. Facilities basic, food amazing but expensive (there are plenty of other resorts around the island and in the next town to eat). Definitely recommend to laid back young couples or travellers.

Had an enjoyable stay with really nice staff. The grounds are nice with a nice rockpool.
