Lusia's Lagoon Chalets

We had an ensuite, enclosed fale over the water. It was magical. We didn't need to go on a snorkelling trip, bread off the deck or only 4 steps down a ladder and you were in with the fish. We watched the colours change as the sun arose and shimmered across the lagoon waters. The roof over the deck gave us the, sort after, shade. No evening sunsets. A 7 minute walk to the local market where no-one hassles you to buy. We didn't check out local restaurants, eventhough taxis are cheap, because the food at Lusia's was fine.

We stayed at 4 places on Savaii and this was one of our favourite. The room above the water was stunning. We could hear the water lapping all night and in the morning could see fish swimming in the lagoon below. The staff are super friendly and considerate. They were thoughtful, helpful and attentive too. And then there was good food to top it off! we didn't expect that ! Breakfast was beautiful and the evening menu had quite a variety, the Oka was the best we tasted in Samoa. Will definitely stay there again.

A great location close to ferry, surrounded by lush greenery, a beautiful spot. Was perfect for our needs before setting off to explore Savaii.

Checked in for 4 nights in a Lagoon Chalet - and were warmly welcomed by their charming staff. Check in was easy, and we were taken to our room. Beautifully presented, with a charming view over the water. Breakfast included was great - cooked breakfast every morning. Lunch and dinner at their restaurant - either inside, or out on the wharf over the water was always a great experience. Food was quick out of the kitchen and the staff were always willing to please. Our last night -- we decided to upgrade to a Garden Room Ensuite - a great choice to enjoy our final night. Unfortunately the air con didn't want to work in this room - but staff were willing to lower the room price because of this. Property is located close to Saleloga, a short walk from the Ferry Terminal and local shops. Markets, Supermarket and Bus Terminal - only 5 mins walk in the other direction. Next time we go to Savai'i we will definitely be staying here again!
