My stay at the Red Lion was very special. It is an authentic and sweet place. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I ate breakfast and lunch there and enjoyed both meals. My room had a tea cake in it when I arrived. The attention to details was noticeable. I couldn’t recommend the place more highly. With Gratitude.

Very central, close to all local amenities, free parking, good lively bar.

We stayed in room 6, the toilet dripped constantly which was very irritating but otherwise the room was comfy and quiet.

We stayed at the Red Lion for my mum’s 80th birthday. We were given an area to decorate and staff were all so friendly and helpful. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her stay - the lovely, comfortable room, the delicious food, the fab breakfast and the welcoming friendly staff. Thank you to everyone there - we all had a wonderful time.

"Fabulous in every way"

Fabulous hotel and staff. I would highly recommend. The rooms are cosy and have everything you need including coffee machine. The lighting in the bathroom was great for applying makeup.Mini bar woyh wine and snacks(extra) Staff were really friendly.This was the best breakfast I have had at a hotel.I cant wait to return in July,Thinking of booking an extra night
