Hotel De Normandie

Ive never stayed in a hotel with rice crispy floors. It was so disturbing i had to change rooms at the price of giving up my bathtub! I was not best pleased. The staff was great especially Daniel. Such a lovely young man you will go far just keep on keeping on!

Very clean hotel and had pleasant staff. But Room was a single and very small with poor ventilation. Limited parking. Nice breakfast.

Wonderful hotel. Fantastic location a stones throw from the beach and the swimming lido, super helpful and friendly staff, very clean and buffet breakfast and tea were amazing, such a choice. When I come back to Jersey I will definitely be booking in here again.

Alrhough not in centre of St Helier the bus stop outside the hotel was perfect for getting into the centre. Hotel very good value, staff very pleasant.

Great location for the beach, staff very helpful and room was spotless

The hotel was in an excellent location with an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants and pubs nearby. The staff was very friendly. It is a nice older facility with all then quirks of narrow hallways and stairs found in older places. Our room was pretty noisy with construction noise starting pretty early and our windows were nest to the outdoor stairway and back door to the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great stay

Great staff,excellent breakfast and great location but looking a bit tired,the decor needs a refresh,my room needed painting and parts of the dining room wallpaper looking tatty but overall a good 3*hotel and worth what I paid for my stay.

Hotel De Normandie, a 3 star in Jersey, I would rate it a 4 star in the UK on facilities alone. Rooms are clean, and tidy, if a little small,but perfectly adequate. Finding your room can be a little difficult, although room numbers are clearly signed. Mine took 1 minute and 39 seconds from reception to room. Mainly because there are numerous left and right turns, stairs going up and down, with fire tdoor to open. Breakfast has everything you could want, and the maitre de FARIA was one of the nicest people I have ever met. The restaurant, and bar areas are large, and the food was excellent. very varied menu, and large portions. there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a sauna. Poolwhen I used was normally empty. Depth is 3' 10'', so ideal for teens upwards. No kids pool, but they could use the jacuzzi with no '' bubbles ''. there is also a quite room for reading, with board games provided. ALL of the staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. Hotel is located at the east end of the island, but bus stops are right outside. excellent beach is just accross the road. Island bus service is very good. Remember to obtain a bus pass for 1/3/7 days, as it will save you a lot of money. As this is a hotel review, I will not comment to much on Jersey itself, but it is a wonderful Island. 7 days is probably enough to see most ot the tourist attractions. Jersey will not disappoint.
