Food was fantastic, staff were friendly & welcoming. Thanks to Hannah who was waitressing Friday night & then serving drinks on the Saturday (she's a credit to the team). Wayne was really helpful when we raised an issue with the shower & sought a solution immediately, he was also generous with recommending places to visit.

We were lucky with the weather which meant our room was pretty toasty, had window open for air but meant you do have slight road news (did hear an owl though which was lovely).

The food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly, and the owners in particular, did everything they could to facilitate travelling with disability.

"Dreadful place - would never go there again."

Nothing

No dinner available on Sunday evening. No breakfast any weekday. Staff generally unhelpful and dismissive. No atmosphere - pub closed by 8pm; so not able to communicate with anyone. Plumbing not working. They had no spare key to my room; so did not get in to fix it.

"Would I return …. No."

Rooms away from the road so quiet .

Bedside light had no bulb. Shower cubicle glass had soap scum in it and water marks . Didn’t look as though it had been cleaned after the last occupant so we didn’t feel comfortable to use it . Sadly no breakfast tho it had been booked due to an electrician working , we weren’t told till we arrived so that meant finding breakfast elsewhere … no offer of recompense .
