The Yew Tree at Longhope

Rooms away from the road so quiet .

Bedside light had no bulb. Shower cubicle glass had soap scum in it and water marks . Didn’t look as though it had been cleaned after the last occupant so we didn’t feel comfortable to use it . Sadly no breakfast tho it had been booked due to an electrician working , we weren’t told till we arrived so that meant finding breakfast elsewhere … no offer of recompense .

we had an evening meal and the food was fantastic the staff were excellent. we will be going back soon

unfortunately the people in the room next door were very noisy into the early hours of the morning. This is not down to the yew tree but the individuals using the attached room. We will be going back again to stay for a longer period

Lovely, family run pub with accommodation, in a lovely part of Gloucestershire. Staff were excellent, rooms were lovely, and the food was good too.

Lack of lighting in the car park.

I liked that it was on a bus route and that it was part of a pub with food.

1. I couldn’t make the shower work, no idea why. I wondered if there was a switch but couldn’t see any except something above the door called “isolated” I think. Maybe I should have read the notice on the table more carefully but it didn’t seem to mention the shower. 2. Also I couldn’t lock the door from the inside, again no idea why maybe I wasn’t turning the key properly. 3. Vegetarian options weren’t great on your dinner menu 4. It was rather dark going from the pub back to the bedroom ( but I’m a Londoner!)

All the staff were fantastic. Food was great and class atmosphere even for mid week. Will be back.

Theresa and her team were absolutely 💯 👌 from arranging arrival to the time we all left. EXCELLENT Stay really recommend Food was also excellent 👌
