Beautiful, quiet setting in unspoilt country. Helpful attentive service in a traditional village Inn.

Lovely little pub, tucked away only minutes off the main road. Breakfast was excellent!

Clean, comfortable and snug. We loved our room and thought the standard of breakfast was excellent. (We didn’t see any fruit or cereals, but didn’t really need any). We were a little surprised that our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, but this will probably right itself when COVID is over. We were offered fresh towels each day. Mark worked his socks off! He was there all day every day and was always friendly and professional. We will certainly stay here again.

Extremely happy with our stay here! From the day we booked, the staff were nothing but accommodating. Excellent communication even before our stay regarding gluten free breakfast options and check in time. The room was very sweet and cosy, beds were comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature was perfect. When we were stuck without a taxi to get us back after the wedding reception, Mark kindly offered to collect us. And to top it off, breakfast in the morning before we left was delicious! 10/10 would recommend and just want to say a massive thank you again to Mark for going the extra mile (literally!) to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Friendly welcome, quiet, comfortable, good evening meal and breakfast.. very pleasant stay for two nights. For us it was an ideal location.

We stayed whilst for one night in a family room (3 adult sisters). The room was clean and had enough room for each of us. It was clean, service was great and a anaxing large full english included in tne price). It was a shared bathroom but we had one just for us. The tv was small but worked well with range of channels. The beds were comfy and the area is quiet

One night stop over,room good and clean,bed comfortably,this room had a bath with shower coming via mixer taps, not good at all.Mark cooks a good breakfast,small out the way hotel,I liked it.

Great place, amazing staff, fantastic hospitality, quality food. Great location if you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating break in Ipswich I would highly recommend it. Close to town centre and Framingham castle. Room was comfy and spacious.👍👍👍👍

Country village property and location. Owner efficient and extremely nice. Breakfast on time and good. Very nice food available in restaurant. Very reasonably priced. Quiet location.
