Sir Alfred Munnings Hotel

This is a very quite spot in the country with a very good service regards food, accomadation and friendly staff. The landlord is a mine of information and a great host. His cooking makes you want more. I think this place is a spot away from the crowds. but only a couple of miles from the main road. Will be back again highly soon

A very friendly pub with all services excellent. Happy people and very welcoming including the locals. Very good food and a great breakfast, two mornings. great drinks, not overpriced and a very good landlord, very helpful with any problem or question. No complaints will be going again shortly

Very clean and friendly, with excellent meals both breakfast and in the evening. My own room was a bit 'crowded out' with beds, but other rooms may not be.

This hotel is great for a nights stay, we where close by for a wedding and was very comfortable night sleep after a long day and a lovely breakfast in the morning …….. the only thing that let this hotel down was the shower or should I say the dribble of water that come out of the shower head

Overall, I had a great experience at the Alfred Munnings pub, staff were very welcoming.The room was a little dated but clean, unfortunately the en-suite didn’t have a shower attachment over the bath. They served a good breakfast and the evening meals were very tasty. The pub is in a good location to explore the local area.
