Really friendly pub with lovely food and some decent ales on tap. Nice quiet location and great value for money. Very accommodating attitude for storage of my bike overnight (I was invited to bring it in so it could be locked inside overnight). I had to skip breakfast to get somewhere so they made me a packed lunch to take away with me. Totally unexpected but very appreciated. Would definitely stay there again.

Room very clean with a large comfortable bed. Host very helpful - gave me somewhere secure to store my bike.

This was my second stay and again i could not fault the service or friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We booked in for mother's day lunch which was beautiful and enjoyed by all. I am happy to recommend to friends and family

Another night in the 'go to' location for a business trip to this lovely part of the world. Rural, quiet, comfortable, very reasonably priced, good breakfast, relaxed and homely. Conveniently placed for a work visit, in very easy reach of Diss and Eye, the 143 and the 140.

The hotel bar was welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and tidy and well appointed. The fish and chips in the restaurant were top notch and the price was exceptionally reasonable. Would definately recommend ;o)

Always a pleasure staying here - made to feel welcome, really handy location for working in this part of the world, and excellent value for money. Great breakfast too.

A Suffolk pub with accommodation you would expect, with excellent food. Excellent walks along the river meadows

Stayed 5 days in sept 22 nice clean room,very comfy bed food of a good standard owner and staff very obliging nothing was to much trouble.
