Loved everything about the property. However, the beach was a bit noisy at times and crowded. All to be expected!

I almost want to keep this a secret and make up lots of bad stuff. But I know that would be a lie. This place was wonderful and an absolute gem. Staff was Terrific. With a big thank you to Carla and Alejandra for being awesome.

Location,Location,Location This was our 4-5th stay, we have stayed at other hotels and locations but this is the one we like the best and we now stick with, the partial seaside 3rd floor rooms are the best with the bricked domed ceilings IMHO, it was our 25th Anniversary and they went the extra mile to make the room nice with heart balloons and love swans from towels and a nice message, also the views from the balconies are amazing overlooking the central square and the beach and sea with a view of Cozumel in the distance and the Ferry Terminals about 300 yards away but you can't hear it just see it and all the people coming and going, if you enjoy people watching this is the spot, yet mostly quiet enough to sleep or take a nap at any time there are maya dance shows during the day 10-11 am and stop around 7-8pm in the square but not too loud, the hotel is located 5th and Juarez so about 50 yards to the hotel from the ADO bus station you can take from and back to the airport for $12.50 USD each way and 20 yards from some of the best powdered beach in Playa, also the AC worked great.

We booked Casa Melissa for an overnight room, close to the ferry, on our way to our Cozumel time share. This low budget property is definitely worth the price. Staff is attentive and very friendly. We were able to upgrade to a king bed on the first floor for about 20$US. Our room was spacey and the bed just as we like it… firm. This motel exceeded our expectations but I would not recommend it for families. Unfortunately, neighbors’ dogs barked throughout the night making it hard to sleep. I’d recommend ear plugs! While the room is non- smoking, the area around the pool is not so we were not able to enjoy our outdoor space due to others smoking. Would my husband and I go back? Definitely for a convenient overnight stay!

I had spotty wifi throughout the stay. The staff was quick and helpful in resolving it initially, but the problem persisted. The room was okay. There was a mini fridge that didn't work, a coffee maker but no coffee or any coffee apparatus. The door was hard to lock and unlock without pushing it. The staff made up for the few things that didn't work in the room. They were pleasant and always helpful. Great location, but noisy. Not what you want if peace and quiet is what you're looking for. 3.5/5 for me.

Great location if you want to be near the action. Can be a little noisy as there is so much going on. Get an ocean view room on 2nd or 3rd floor. Very clean. Walk out the door to shopping, restaurants or the beach and the park is right across the street with street performances etc. Ferry to Cozumel is steps away.The pool is a little small but it works. Had a great time.

The property is clean and the staff were very pleasant. It does have an ocean view but is not on the ocean. It is located near the city square and ferry launch which makes getting around very easy. It can get a little loud but it generally quiet by 10pm. The pool area was clean but the water was a little cloudy. Overall it was a nice place to stay within that budget.

It was our fist time visiting and loved the Location and Cleanliness of the hotel
