Armada Hotel

The hotels appearance looked promising from the outside and within the lobby. Our hotel room also looked good and similar to the photos on booking com. The beds were comfortable, good pillows, air-conditioning was running well also. The bathroom looked clean and had both options for a larger shower head or smaller head with hose.

There was no hot water in the bathroom on our first nights stay. This was extremely disappointing after attending a funeral service, it was the last thing I wanted to do upon checking into our room after the long day me and my family had. The following morning my daughter had a shower and said it was Luke warm but tolerable. I did not complain to the hotel staff as I found them pleasant but not overly attentive and welcoming. I only stayed at this hotel because we required only three nights accommodation and as it was around the corner from Roxas Boulevard where my family live. We had previously stayed at the Sheraton Manila Bay and found the staff and hotel facilities exceptional. Whilst I'm aware Armada is a 4 star rated hotel, I don't believe it should be and should be classed as a 3 star as this is more appropriate. I would only ever stay here again if I was completely desperate and would rather pay more to stay at a hotel like the Sheraton Manila Bay if I were to return to this area of the Philippines

Half of the gym equipment was under maintenance

The gym equipment were not all working. Everything else was exceptional.

Room are somewhat clean , bathrooms are moldy on the edges. Hallway are hot and very humid. Seems like the AC is not properly working.

The hotel itself was very old and definitely not worth the money paid for/ the TV and aircond doesn’t work properly. During my checkout, the staff at the reception was also rude. The electrical and the lights sometimes were blinking. For the money paid, I recommend other hotel in the neighborhood

Wonderful hotel to stay in Manila
