Ramada Encore by Wyndham Belconnen Canberra

Liked the room was spacious but would have preferred if I got a thumbs up on the construction work surrounding the building at 6.30am especially when people like to rest up after long days road trips!

Great price for room facilities.

Room was extremely basic with dated decor. The desk area had no power points so the only place to boil the kettle was in the bathroom or next to the bed. No toaster or microwave & mini fridge was stored in a cupboard & got very warm to the touch. Restaurant was not open as advertised on the website which was extremely disappointing & inconvenient. You can hear every noise in the hallway day & night in addition to the construction going on in the area. The staff were great; however, the facility is 2 stars at best.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. Was excellent for the price. Room service was prompt and the pizza delicious. Only issue was poor TV reception Building works next door were noisy through day but alternative room offered if desired. Not found necessary. A really nice, comfortable place to stay with ample parking onsite.

Good location and great size room. We had the executive King Suite. When we arrived, bathroom had a large puddle of water over the floor. This also happened every time the room was serviced. In all the hotel rooms I’ve stayed at in my life. I’ve never had such a badly made bed. The doona was hanging on the floor and just pulled up nothing else. The worst part we noticed on the fourth night of our day was that there was quite a bit of blood on the bedding sheets. Which was quite disgusting. We then removed the sheet from the bed. They have a great pod coffee machine in the foyer which is complimentary to guests. Also need to be mindful that there is massive construction work right next door to the hotel which begins at 7 am but you can hear the builders much earlier. This goes on six days a week. They do provide earbuds but this does little relief forjackhammers into concrete.

Certainly doesn't look like their photos.... It is an older property so rooms are a good size but they are dated. However beds are modern and comfy
