A minha experiência não foi positiva. Cheguei às 16h20, hora prevista para check-in (a partir das 16h), e o quarto ainda não estava pronto. A receção não foi calorosa. Inicialmente, à primeira vista, o quarto parecia aceitável, mas mais tarde reparei numa grande falta de higiene: muito pó e cotão, teias de aranha, cabelos espalhados (inclusive nas toalhas “lavadas”), nódoa na roupa da cama. Contactei o proprietário, que se mostrou surpreso e enviei-lhe fotos. Após o envio, enviaram alguém para limpar novamente, mas a limpeza embora estivesse melhor, continuou longe do aceitável. Infelizmente, não voltaria a reservar nem recomendaria este alojamento devido às falhas na limpeza e no atendimento inicial.

The host (Antonio) was great and really helpful, the room was clean and as shown in the picture and there was a beautiful garden.

Nothing to mention, only a mini fridge in the room could be a nice addition.

Stayed here for a week and it was just lovely! Very cool, clean and comfortable room. Great location to explore the whole island with free on street parking right outside. Nice little area with a pretty church, felt like a local! Antonio was a very kind host and replied to messages and dealt with any requests right away. Would defo stay again :)

We had a wonderful stay here during our trip to Madeira! The area is absolutely stunning — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation itself was spotless and very comfortable, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights is the location: you’ll find some lovely bars nearby where you can enjoy a great poncha (a local must-try!) and charming places to grab a tasty breakfast and good coffee to start your day right. Antonio, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful — always available if you need anything and genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay. You can tell he puts a lot of heart into making guests feel welcome. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back! Thank you, Antonio!

My partner and I spent three wonderful days in this lovely home. The house is charming, well-kept, and fully equipped — nothing is missing! It’s also spacious enough to feel very comfortable. It’s located in a small, quiet village where you’ll find great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket just a few steps away. The area is also very well connected to all nearby points of interest, making it easy to explore the surroundings. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, this is the perfect spot! Antonio is truly a kind and helpful host — we really appreciated his availability and warm welcome.

Location was great, the room.. Antonio the owner was helpfull. We will definitely come back.

Very nice accommodation. I highly recommend. We stayed here 4 nights and could say that was perfect for going everywhere in the eastern part of the island.

Nice views, sizeable room, Antonio is kind host who is well reachable. Location is somewhat isolated in the hills but has its charm

Overall could be better value for money wise: no breakfast, no housekeeping/towel changes unless you stay more than a week
