"Exceptional"

We liked the location, loved the food and the bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom in hotel room was a little tight for space and was two steps up to get into. Mum found it tricky with her arthritic knees.

Lage ist super. Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Abendessen sehr gut.

Dusche in der Badewanne hat nicht richtig funktioniert; wirkte etwas abgewohnt. Im Zimmer sind einige Reparaturen notwendig gewesen.

Great location, individual feel, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice not to be in a chain hotel and the pub garden was an added bonus.

"Friendly staff and perfectly suitable for a short stay."

Good sized room which was quiet, although faced the road. Breakfast was tasty and several options available. Great outdoor seating area. Nice touch to provide a drop of port in the room.

The ladies toilet cubicles in the main bar area are truly cramped and I had to open the door before I could turn round and flush the loo!
