Didn't have breakfast.

The blind in the room were very thin & let a lot of light in. With it being June, l woke at 4.40am as super light in the room. Suggest upgrading to black out blind/curtains.

Location is perfect, room was fab and staff super attentive. Hotel & Bar has a great vibe. I would definitely recommend and would go back if I needed to stay in Exeter

Bathroom was a concern because of the steps and the lack of space to manoeuvre. The bedroom was quite satisfactory. Breakfast was good and the meal at dinner was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.

No lift making it difficult to transport luggage.

Lovely little hotel, full of character and in a fantastic location. This was our second stay and on the first we also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which was excellent.

Loved the complementary home-made flap jack in a dome and port in a cute glass bottle. Tagged like in Alice and wonderland. Staff very helpful with my ineptitude with the Sky TV remote control. Really lovely boho decor and comfortable bed. Oh and the blissful air con in the heatwave.

I was room 18 at the top, so some steep stairs to go up if you are older. Plus a slanted roof with a beam that I bumped my head into a few times. But I am clumsy!

Room was lovely, spacious, and clean. Lots of amenities in the room, and the pub downstairs was really nice.

No parking onsite, but there was a public car park nearby.
