NZGreat location, central and near the jetty. Felt very secure. Nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious apartment. Receptive staff. We had a private covered outdoor area with chairs and tables. Stylish bright yellow Shade7 umbrellas. Nice central decked area with pool and spa pool. Accessible laundry.
NZNZSo clean and well maintained. The kitchen is always a bonus when travelling with kids. The beds are better than 5 star hotels that I’ve stayed at so comfortable. I’m starting to find motels are becoming better than hotels. The pool was nice and clean and the staff are easy. Bill the owner is so accommodating and lovely.

We were deeply disappointed with our recent stay. We stayed there a year ago and really enjoyed our stay: so much that we have recommended you to several friends. On that occasion we felt very welcome on our arrival. This time the welcome and atmosphere was very off handed. Even though the Lodge was virtually empty there was no atmosphere to feel we were welcome. That feeling still lives with us. We do hope that this can be improved as the Lodge is in a beautiful spot but right now we don't feel we could recommend it to anyone or make another booking ourselves.

Strange to have no room service over a three night stay- but it was a quiet weekend and we really enjoyed our stay.
