NZOriginal greeting was poor, unsmiling and almost seemed put out we were checking in. Room was fine except very noisy air cond units directly outside our room which ran off/on all night. The room was stuck in the corner with no direct sunlight on two beautiful days. Shame!
NZNZThe location is right in the heart of Russell. Our unit was perfect, with a comfortable seating space, dining table, and kitchen. A separate bedroom is always a plus. A big bonus was that we also had an outdoor table and chairs, overlooking the salt water pool and spa.
Nothing. A perfect stay for us.

Noise from the road and room itself below average, uncomfortable bed . No outlook 😟
NZLarge unit on waterfront, lux bed, furniture and towels. Situation great apart from busy foot traffic right outside unit.
Toilet smelt of sewage, outside lights on from dusk till dawn. Unable to turn off so unit not dark for sleeping or stargazing. Not a relaxed setting at night. Unit not serviced for 5 days even though "service my room " sign was out. We were forgotten about... but oh owner did ask if we had enough towels on day 4 . Shower leaked, hand basin tap worn and hard to keep on, no aircon but did have a good portable fan. Note ...owners unit was above and they had aircon. No toilet freshener and extractor fan for the bathroom/toilet was too small. We won't be back
