Easy walking access to restaurants and to shopping mall. Great range of cafes near by.

Housekeeping was a little off .The base of the toilet was dirty with urine. No cutlery or bowls or plates provided, no face washers and the towels were frayed.

Lovely position on the Hunter River and close to town.

Poorly maintained, we had a deck looking over the river, however, was too dirty to use, no plates, cutlery, tea towels, tissues, one bed-light did not work. Reception demanded $100 security charge on check in.

Very basic accommodation.

Small room, not sound proofed walls to adjacent room.

Nice room and outlook from balcony space, exactly like promo photo. It was just a couple of minutes from shops, cafes etc also.

No one at reception to check us in and the man, when he arrived, wasn't very friendly. The room smelled like a sewer during the night and woke us up as a result. Little things were lacking, eg dirty inside of jug, no teaspoons, iron had a dirty plate and dripped water, shower was lukewarm, toilet bowl cracked, bathroom mirror had water spots, mostly little things but noticeable nonetheless.

Toilet, sheets, mirror, kettle and hard surfaces were dirty or dusty. There was an unhealthy toxic chemical smell in the room also, which stayed on my clothes for hours afterwards.

Room was great - small but comfortable and with a great view of the river. Quite old but well kempt, neat, clean and tidy. Could do with a bit of updating to make it better. Location was perfect (across the crossroad from the main shopping area/street). Bed was firm but quite comfortable. Very Convenient for us. Staff were very accommodating and friendly even though they had a bad customer experience before serving me which was handled well and not carried on to the next customer (that was me)
