Homeric Dreams is an excellent choice. I have planned 4 european trips for husband & myself and I overlooked things for this trip that the hotel did not. We arrived via transfer which I booked through the hotel itself, which was more expensive than booking your own taxi, but they handled everything. We arrived and a porter was at our car to grab all of our bags and take them to a secured room (arrived 8am, checkin is 3pm). He had a luggage dolly & some ropes to efficiently move bags to their destination. We absolutely could not have walked these bags to the hotel and I was totally unaware of this despite reading the entire Rick Steves book on Greece; lugging around our bags on extremely irregular mixed composition ground after traveling would have been a horrible way to start the Santorini visit. After we did the Oia Hike we were back to check in & our luggage appeared at our room, we didn’t have to ask or fret about it in any way. Our room was 5 flights of stairs down & they didnt have any special dolly for this. The room was really cool, had the whole Santorini cave house vibe going & was visually appealing. Breakfast incl. in the booking is full on room service style (within a selection) which you order via phone call the day prior. Our experience leaving the hotel was the same as we arrived - they make complicated simple. They know what they’re doing & how to help you have the best trip possible. As for location, it’s a ~6min walk to Fira. I enjoyed not being in busy Fira

I would rate this hotel higher, but 5 stars is the maximum possible. This impeccably maintained property, with stunning views, and the most welcoming and accommodating staff has guaranteed that we will visit again as soon as possible.

Loved this place, super nice staff , great location, amazing view, , good internet speed , will come back here again. If u are elderly and have any knee issue let them know so they give you rooms closer to the top.

Location, service, view, and cleanliness are great! The crew are very helpful and sweet! The included breakfast on our balcony with the most amazing view is something you will experience once!! We were so impressed with everything! One of my best vacations However, be careful of stairs. If you are not energetic and strong, this might not be your hotel! For us, it wad fun and our morning exercise!

You know when you are dating and you find “the one” and you stop dating and marry them? Well Homeric Poems is “the one” and there is need to continue your search for another hotel. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and has a great location to everything in Santorini. The hotel has the best staff who make you feel like their favorite family member. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and to accommodate our every request. From the welcome beverage and meal, to tracking down my lost luggage, to making recommendations, to scheduling messages, to breakfast on the patio, to the amazing drinks, the staff did it all! We hated to say goodbye to this hotel and to beautiful staff at Homeric Poems. To the Owner and General Manager of the hotel, please give your employees raises and bonuses because they are the heart of this hotel and make it truly special. I need to thank everyone for for making our 25th Anniversary the best, so thank you: Theoni, Elias, Stefanos and Spyros at reception for accommodating all of our requests with perfection. To Gabriel, Zani and Nikita’s for delivering a great breakfast and fantastic drinks. To Valentina, Angela, Jove and Mariza, thanks for making our room sparkle ever day.
