Spokane Club Hotel

Although I do like the building, the location, the staff and the walkable area I found that the rooms could use some updating and cabinets all need to be refurbished or replaced.

This is a gorgeous old property with a lot of history. It was an interesting place to stay and close to some beautiful parks and nice shops.

Als einziges von 13 Hotels unserer USA-Rundreise mussten wir hier - recht hohe - Parkgebühren zahlen. Der Zugang zum Parkplatz ist nicht so einfach. Es braucht einen Code, der bei uns nicht funktionierte. Dadurch mussten wir mehrfach hin und herlaufen. Die Fenster sind für die Lage an einer auch nachts viel befahrenen Durchgangsstraße zu hellhörig.

Everything is great except for the parking garage is not located next to the hotel. It’s across the street and down the road.

As reciprocal visiting members from the Washington Athletic Club, we have enjoyed many visits over the past 60 years. Most visits were to use the athletic facilities. Occasionally, we would stay overnight. We had always enjoyed our visits. However, this visit was a very different experience. The guest room was not well furnished. There were 2 chairs, both were desk-type chairs, and there was no cushioned chair. The room temperature was cold, and the heat was turned off for the summer. Another disappointment was that the dining area and lounge were both closed. The TV was also very complicated to use, with no instructions handy to help. However, on a positive note, the cleaning staff for the room was efficient and friendly. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The exercise area was well-equipped, and the person at the sports area check-in desk was very helpful. We've been guests at the Spokane Club annually for the past 60 years or so. Until this visit, the experience has always been a good one. While we are likely to visit again as a day guest, we don't plan to stay overnight again unless there are changes to the room features and the restaurant is open more of the time.

Great location. Very nice, comfortable rooms in a classic old club. We used to stay here years ago as members of an affiliated club but now it is open to the public. It's a wonderful property, with parking a block away. Guests have access to the Sport facilities, which are fantastic.

Since its a older building, the bathroom is smaller, but it was still fine, and the shower was good.
