Homeless population and being next to the service elevator.

The breakfast was excellent! I only wish they were open during the week days as well as the weekends. The service is always impeccable! We are always pleased!

The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. I accidentally left $100 in my room and they called me to return ini... that should tell you everything you need to know... Great place.

Location was good and bed was very comfortable.

The noise from the cars on the street was very loud through the windows, so sleep was difficult in spite of the very comfortable bed. I was also disappointed with the restaurant/lounge situation. The information stated that it was open until 9:00pm on the night I was there (a Saturday) so at 8:15 I went downstairs to have dinner. The front desk person said that the restaurant had closed and told me to try the lounge. The lounge door was locked and it was also closed. I told the front desk person this and confirmed that they were both supposed to be open until 9. His reply was “huh”; no apology, no offer of alternatives, just “huh”. As a single woman I know it is not safe to walk around downtown Spokane alone at night so I was effectively stuck at the hotel with no dinner or lounge. I thought about ordering delivery food but I was over it at that point so I ate a wayward snack pack of gummy fruits I found in my purse and called it a night. Very disappointing for a place that I chose based on the idea that I was going to treat myself to a nice hotel with a good restaurant.
