Ojai Retreat & Inn

We had a great time. The place was quiet and comfortable . I certainly would stay again. The breakfast was great, many choices. The property was beautiful. We met several couples and had an enjoyable pink sky evening.

There was no designated smoking area. The place is not smoker friendly as it would pose a significant risk to the woods and buildings.We left to go down town to smoke and came back. If you stay, bring gum or some patches.

It is located in a beautiful area and her had beautiful views from our room! I did yoga overlooking the landscape. The bed was sooooo comfortable!

The property is peaceful and quiet and located in a lovely area. There are walking paths on the property and the view is unbeatable. There are tables outside where you can eat your breakfast surrounded by trees and the hillside. It’s our go to place to stay in Ojai. The receptionist is great and the service is excellent. If you stay in separate rooms with an extended family you can socialize in the dining room or the upstairs library and they have a nice collection of spiritual books in both rooms.

I wish the breakfast had vegetables and more protein. It’s tasty but mostly empty carbs except the hard boiled eggs.

The Retreat is beautiful -- the sunsets are lovely. The Staff is helpful with local suggestions for food, views and activities. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and complete!

Really beautiful views, lots of areas to relax outside, peaceful, calm.

We had a wonderful stay but it did seem a bit pricy. Also the bath towels were TINY.

We felt that the breakfast items were tasty, fresh and healthy leaning. The food choices varied from bread, pastry, granola, fruits, and hard boiled eggs. All excellent choices for a healthy breakfast. As for beverages, we had plenty of coffee, orange juice, and milk. There was also a variety of fruit to choose from and plenty. The friendly staff was eager to help if and when it was needed. The location near Ojai was simply beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The only time we ever saw anybody was at breakfast. There was never a sense that the place was crowded. We appreciated the up-to-date accommodations, nice bed, and plenty of extras, i.e. coffee, tea and towels. My partner mentioned that the last time he was at the facility it felt “ tired”. This was definitely not the case during our trip. Everything seemed to be fresh and decorated nicely.

Could there have been anything better? Absolutely not… We had a spectacular visit in Ojai at a most perfect “Retreat”!

The breakfast was nice especially since there isn’t an onsite restaurant. I love that the rooms have a refrigerator and microwave!
