La Signora Hotel

Okay hotel men værelser er meget små, ca 8m2, morgenmad var ganske fin.

This hotel was adequate but at the top of a steep hill so be prepared for a climb back from the beach (going down is easy). The facilities were very clean but the room very disappointing. The beds are so hard we struggled to get a comfortable nights sleep. The shower provides little room for movement and the fixtures are obstacles. The balcony is very limited for space and chairs needed to be removed to enable opening of the shutters. The room however was well maintained, the domestic and bar staff extremely friendly and helpful. We found that the owner didn't engage very much with guests, but the atmosphere overall was pleasant. We would recommend that you hire a car for this location. There are some excellent tavernas in the area, but it's good to explore the vibrant Katelios, Karminia is the sandy beach just before Skala , the small port of Poros and a drive over the mountains takes you to the very beautiful Assos and then over to Sami.

The hotel was most welcoming places to eat were close by although a steep walk back from the beach side restaurants which were the better places to eat. You require beach shoes as the beach is not as sandy as pictures suggest. Overall a very nice place to go and relax.

The Lara hotel is a nice small hotel 5 minutes from the beach. Staff friendly & helpful. But too close to busy roads which made it noisy. No lift so not easy to carry cases up or down the stairs.But did enjoy my stay overall.

What a lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent food from lovely breakfast to great lunches and fresh, tasty dinners.. A lovely walk down to the beach, but hard work on the way back up to the hotel, though totally worth it when you jump straight in the pool.. Rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels if needed.

Just what we wanted. A relaxing place, no shops or holiday paraphenalia but genuinely beautiful setting, with top notch tavernas close by and peace and tranquility to relax in. Buses running up and down the quite steep hill were a little unreliable but this did not stop us. If you are looking for rest and relaxation in a typically Greek setting with friendly locals and great food and drink this is the place.

Very good hotel for the price. Very clean. Air-con is charged extra which we found a bit strange but we didn't really need it so it was fine, plus the price we were paying per night with breakfast included was good so it kind of felt right to pay a bit extra for the air con. Breakfast was nice, good variety. Recommend it!

Lourdata is a Beautiful small Village with a lovely white shingle beach, boasting some excellent restaurants. Lorraine's and Olive Lounge stood out, each with delicious locally sourced food, great service and idyllic locations. Lourdata is a great base for exploring the island, with easy access to other beaches such as Katelios and Scala, towns and villages of Argostolli, Sami and Fiskardo. The caves of Melissani and Drogarati are also worth a visit. The hotel is comfortable with helpful staff able to support with booking boat trips - Zante was a highlight -there is a fabulous Pola with cafe bar. This was a perfect relaxing and fun family holiday. We all fell in love with the island.

Very nice relaxing stay at this hotel. Lovely pleasant and friendly staff and great value for money.

Stayed for 2 weeks in July 2015. Friendly staff, clean room, ok breakfast, 5 minutes from beach.
