Country View Motor Inn

Fairly quite with some train noise in the distance but is inherent to Lower Kamloops. Employees were very nice and easy to talk too.

Smoking areas outside the rooms on the walkways and lower levels very uncomfortable for people who do not smoke. Designated smoking area away from hotel would be better

The room was clean and quiet

The hot tub was out of service. The water was not usable (that was not the fault of the hotel, but it meant we could not have a coffee or brush our teeth. The damage deposit was NOT to be charged to our card --only held -- but it was charged. Now we have to fight to get it refunded.

Bed was comfy

No cups or water available

Advertised a pool, but it was not working.

The staff were lovely, but the room was absolutely disgusting.

I rented this room for my Mother as she was coming to visit, and she would usually stay with us, but we're doing renovations. The room they put her in was just gross. Probably the worst room I've ever seen. The beds were in shambles and at different heights, the furniture was just placed wherever, there was only one lamp and the receptacle it was plugged into was so loose it wouldn't even stay plugged in. No light by the bed. Every single thing looked like it was well worn and from the 80's. There were holes in the walls.
