La Piette Hotel

My husband is disabled and we were upgraded to a sea view ground floor room with a 4 poster bed. Breakfasts were delicious and the bar menu was varied and well priced. The staff could not have been more helpful.

We really liked the hotel. It was in a great position and our room overlooked the sea. It was about twenty minutes, slow walk, to the bus station and main part of town. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion and the sea bass and crab cake were delicious. We would stay again.

Great hotel, but the room was a bit noisy from the traffic and bar so had to keep the windows closed add that to a couple of warm days and it was a bit hard to sleep, however they did give us a fan which helped. Staff were fantastic, breakfast was second to none -- very nice hotel, would stay there again but would request a different room

stayed here with my mum and her friend as a birthday treat. excellent location and lovely little hotel. all foreign staff with limited english so ordering breakfast and drinks a little difficult so you dont always get what you have ordered! but all very pleasant. food ok but could be improved.poached eggs over cooked and staff dont know the difference between fresh and tinned tomatoes.white toast given when brown was ordered. vegetables at dinner not very good and a bit too hard and i like under cooked veg. but staff all very pleasant and a lovely little hotel in a good location and not far from the condor.ferry.terminal.

Nice hotel a short walk from the centre of St Peter Port. The locals in the bar are a friendly bunch and a mine of information on all things Guernsey.

Hotel overall was good, was given a brand new room apparently 1st to use it, problem with the Arial so no TV why getting ready to go out, but resolved for when I got back.I didn't realise but I had missed booking a breakfast with my stay and didn't find out till had left and the hotel called to inform me they needed to take of my card as I had taken breakfast, would have thought someone may have checked at breakfast before I helped myself, then could have decided, but no one asked or checked just let me carry on even after asking what room still didn't inform me, would have been nice if had been maybe given as complimentary from the TV problem etc ? but maybe next time eh Could still smell the paint which was a bit off putting, probably needed the window opening for longer, slight problem was room over looked the beer garden and is a full length door type so stop any noise left closed. Only other comment is find it a bit strange for a new room not to have air conditioning fitted ?? didn't need it for my stay but imagine will be needed as weather warms up. all that said would stay again as very clean and only a 10 minute walk from St Peter Port
