"Avoid hotel! ... restaurant OK"

I was there on May 12th. Room prices are expensive for a solo stay. Don't take a suite for extra comfort. Because the "suite" is a small appartement with an etra bed in the living room. And the beds remain horrible, worst night I had in years. Cheap foam matress, as hard as concrete. Plus I have been charged 2 times for the room on my credit card. Waiting to be reimbursed for this "error"... Food is OK.

Le site est magnifique. La vue et la tranquillité. Bien placé pour la visite

Personnel peu aimable (surtout la partie bar/restaurant) … Linge de la chambre à peine propre. Couettes jaunies. Pas d’eau chaude pendant 2 jours et personne à l’accueil le matin (vers 8H30)

The grounds are beautiful, and the view of the ocean stunning. I loved having a patio with chairs and table to enjoy the outdoors, and the many verandas, outbuildings, etc offer plenty of places to hang out. The breakfast was good too. I'm not sure if we were there in the off season, but some if the buildings felt...tired. The whale watch tower was locked. I would stay here again though, it was nice.

"Rustic, comfortable oceanside hotel."

Beautiful location. Rustic. Clean. Spacious room. With both a bedroom and large sitting room. Our room was ocean facing. Listened to the sound of crashing waves and gentle blowing breeze at night. Very quiet with windows shut. We ate at the restaurant 2 evenings and had great meals and desserts. Great mattresses. Nice hot shower. Good breakfast. Overall quiet.
