"Best place stay in Ortigia"

We loved staying at B&B Palazzo Del Sale. Giovanni made sure we were comfortable. Our room was very large. Loved little common sitting area. We enjoyed our breakfast in the little bar downstairs. Walkable to everthing in Ortigia.

"Ottimo B&B a Ortigia, posizione invidiabile"

Posizione perfetta, vicinissima al Duomo e al mare. Il gestore Giovanni gentilissimo e disponibile. Ottimo il servizio di car valet.

Il bagno era un po' piccolino e scomodo, anche la doccia aveva qualche problema.

"Beautiful Palace B+B in the heart of Ortigia."

The Palazzo was situated on a street corner in Ortigia near the waterfront and Fonte Aretusa. We pre-booked valet parking which was a โ€œmustโ€ for the old city with a restricted traffic zone.. The room was gorgeous - spacious with a balcony and high ceilings. Breakfast was next door in the Bar Cuccumella. The wifi was good. There were several restaurants on our street and we ate locally. The food was delicious. It was a great stay. Giovanni the owner of the hotel and cafe was outstanding - hard working, kind, reliable and looked after us very well.

"Nice but quirky"

Nice place. Nice host. Stayed in the slightly quirky Grigio room. In the room you go up a set of stairs to get to the bathroom and then go up more steps to get to the shower stall. It felt challenging in the middle of the night in the dark to use the wc. And challenging after showering going down the stairs with wet feet. On the other hand, our other traveling family members had a perfectly fine room.
