Alanbat Hotel

While there's quite a lot going for this hotel - the large bedrooms, big comfy beds and a great view - a lot of the details of our stay made for an overall poor experience. The biggest issue is the promised free shuttle to Petra. This is shambolic with no regular collection or pick up meaning we were often having to ask local shopkeepers to call the hotel and them sending a driver and us having to wait 30 or 40 mins. Rooms are large and clean but tired and only had one temperamental socket. Despite it being near to Easter weekend the pool wasn't open. Wifi is patchy at beat. Also doesn't really cater very well for non meat eaters.

First the positive things: Bed was good, balcony also and easy, free parking in front of the hotel. But that's it. Bathroom needs renovation, looks very used and old. Also no place to put your toiletries or hang up towels. Main room had dark dirty spots everywhere at the carpet. Best at breakfast was the tee from Lipton, which says everything. Service good as long as you do not complain. Manager wanted to charge 5% more as mentioned on the booking confirmation because of payment via creditcard. As it was not mentioned during booking I refused to pay it. But many customers seem to accept this cheating.

Das Hotel hat keine Heizung und somit war es hier sehr kalt im Januar. Das Personal war aber sehr bestrebt und hat uns dann die Klimaanlage auf 32 Grad gestellt und somit ging es dann.

Rooms were outdated but comfortable. Excellent staff, good breakfast.

Paikka oli hyvä jos sinulla oli päämäränäsi Petra. Hintataso kohdillaan muuta siellä ei ollutkaan. Ihmiset ystävällisiä. Ympärillä olevat vuoret olivat sanoinkuvaamattoman upeita.

Excellenter Service, vergessener Kulturbeutel wurde bis in die Wüste hinterher gebracht. Fantastische Aussicht mit Sonnenaufgang. Da das Hotel am Hang gebaut ist, fährt man von der Eingangshalle in die 5. Etage ein Stockwerk tiefer. Wenige Minuten bis Petra und auch zur Moses Quelle. Leider starker Tourismusrückgang wegen des Krieges in Syrien, aber deswegen sehr entspannter besuch von Petra.!!!

Bathroom is rusty old tiny. Breakfast is very limited and nothing tasty. Receptionist just promises and keeps you waiting for something for hours. It is an overpriced hotel with nothing to offer but a bed.

친절한 직원들 덕분에 아주 편안히 쉬었다 갑니다. 성수기가 아닌 탓으로 음식에 있어서는 조금 아쉬웠지만 (식재료가 신선해 보이진 않았음) 전체적으로 좋은 위치에 (개인 차량 필요) 적절한 가격, 그리고 서비스에 만족합니다.
