Bellevue Syrene

I’m here to rave about Il Costeria, the bar at Hotel Bellevue Syrene. It wasn’t listed so I have to write this review under the hotel, but we had the best dinner on the bar terrace. We weren’t able to get into the terrace restaurant and our hotel recommended we book at Il Costeria which has the exact same view and they were so right. It’s a smaller plates menu but you can have amazing cocktails, dinner or light bites and watch the amazing sunset. Hopefully this little secret won’t blow up like the restaurant but I did want to share for those wanting the view experience at Bellevue!

Unbelievable views and the kindest staff I have ever met

This was our 9 trip to Sorrento but our first time with the Bellevue hotel. We have stayed with most of the luxury hotels over the years but have not had such a memorable experience as we had with this hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, the food is wonderful, the ambience syrene. The stand out quality that gives you such a welcome is the staff. From front of house to unseen back of house they go that extra mile to ensure you have the best stay possible . We will look forward to returning soon . We had a 7 night stay in early May and it was incredible....so very worth the investment of a Sea View Jr Suite. The entire staff was on point with timely and impeccable customer service. They personalize the stay and get to know their guests - you can tell they truly care and always look for a way to go above and beyond to serve you and make your stay memorable. If you are looking for an amazing experience at the 2 star Michelin resort, do not hesitate to book your adventure. Grazie mille Bellevue Syrene!!!

I booked this hotel nearly a year in advance to get the best rates and decided to splurge for my 50th birthday—and I’m so glad I did. We stayed in a Classic Room with Sea View, and although I was initially nervous due to the limited reviews, the experience exceeded all expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, not tiny at all. It featured a large bathroom area, a separate wardrobe space, and a comfortable king-sized bed. There was also a stocked complimentary minibar, a Nespresso machine, and even a clothes steamer. The private balcony offered absolutely breathtaking sea views and views of Mt Vesuvius Every evening, the entire town seemed to gather just outside the hotel to watch the sunset, but we had the best seat in the house right from our balcony, enjoying a bottle of Prosecco provided by the hotel. It was magical and breathtaking Breakfast was, hands down, the best of all the places we stayed during our trip. The buffet was extensive, with a beautiful spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, and more. There’s also a fantastic à la carte menu, do yourself a favor and order the eggs benedict! Dining on the terrace each morning with panoramic views and a live piano player was unforgettable. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. One unique feature is the lift across from the restaurant that takes you all the way down to the private beach with sun beds and umbrellas, at no extra cost for guests. Alternatively, you can take the stairs or walk through the tunnel and steps carved into the cliffside. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind setting. There’s a very small gym onsite. The lobby offers complimentary wine, sodas, juices, and snacks throughout the day. My only complaint was the room key. The door often struggled to recognize it, and even when we were shown to our room, the attendant had trouble getting it to work. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise exceptional stay. The staff was consistently lovely and helpful, always a warm greeting. Highly recommend this property for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.

We spent three nights at Bellevue Syrene. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The facility and location are spectacularly beautiful. The location is perfect. The food and drinks are amazing. An incredibly nice touch is having a fully stocked minibar in the room and a buffet that in the lobby that is available daily from 10am - 8pm. Beer and wine is always available at both. All of this is only exceeded by the best service I have ever experienced at any hotel. I have to make a special shout out to Rosa at the front desk. Rosa makes you feel like an old friend who she is welcoming to her home. My wife and I can't wait to return to Bellevue Syrene.

Our stay at the Bellevue Syrene was perfect for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. From the first greeting of, "Welcome home", we felt so taken care of. The General Manager, Claudio, and his staff treated us like family, greeting us warmly every time we came into view. We stayed in the beautiful Audrey Suite with three different outdoor spaces including one with a plunge pool/hot tub. It was a a spectacular way to watch sunsets over the Bay of Napoli. Amenities included a breakfast room with expansive views and live piano music, a full buffet, and an impressive menu selection. We also enjoyed small savory and sweet bites along with wine, soda and coffee throughout the day in the lounge. The Concierge, Francesco gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, helped us hire a car for the day, and spent time answering our questions about the area. And Claudio gave us a private tour of the grotto that serves as the hotel's wine cellar, We enjoyed the art and artifacts throughout the hotel and its property. Though we were there a little early in the season for the beach, we did go down to the water to see the grottos and cabanas and the private beach looked lovely. The hotel is beautiful. The location is world class. And the staff is overflowing with genuine hospitality. We highly recommend a stay at the Bellevue Syrene.

Stunning hotel with every amenity. Pictures cannot give the depth of beauty for this place. Sofia at reception and greeting offering exceptional welcome. Gaspare, present at every breakfast and at the one evening we dined in the restaurant made the place feel small and inviting. Live pianist at every breakfast and at dinner. Impeccably clean and bright rooms, each of which offered the cliff view of the sea from Sorrento. Very much looking forward to returning and gratitude to every one of the staff.

Staff were fantastic. They went the extra yard to anticipate or respond to wants. The complex is incredible and the rooms amazing. Couldn't get a better location. It was great in every respect
