Staff was not very helpful, and the location was a little rough, but the hotel room was exceptional. Excellent view of the city, wonderful room all for a very cheap price.
Overall I was very happy with the hotel. The room was massive, well turned out and clean. Air con worked brilliantly, shower was great, staff were friendly. Tut tuts into Riverside were costing me $3 and 15 mins (June 13).
I got a discounted rate and am basing my ratings on less than half rack room rate. The restaurant doesn't have ac but wait staff will turn on fans and it's alright. The 8th floor has balcony sea view rooms which are nice especially at night.
the room is spacious and clean. However, when we went inside the room there is no towel, not even pillow case. Asked them to give us pillow cases and to towels then the staff said all are in laundry and will give us 4 hours later. The surrounding neighbourhood is not very nice, very near to the wet market and the surrounding environment is a bit dirty. But it is near to go royal palace, russia market, museum, independent monument, river front, night market where you can take tuk tuk for about 5mins and it costs $3 only. The killing field is a little bit far from hotel which you need to take tuk tuk about 15mins but $4 for 1 way and total $8 for 2ways where the waiting fees they never count it.
Actually, we did not stay in this hotel because only 1 bulb is working. Other light bulbs are not working. So we switch hotel Lucky Star instead.
