Hotel Garden Palace & Kansai Airport Spa

Fantastic kaiseki style breakfast in the new/modern dining area was very pleasantly surprising after a fairly basic late dinner in the front old cafeteria style area when we first arrived. Very friendly helpful staff at desk, and the transport shuttle to Hineno Station was good.

I was surprised by the fairly old/basic room styles and corridors, as well as the area the hotel was located - I'm not sure, probably just my own issue - I had a different idea in mind from the photos. I tried to ask about an airport shuttle via booking dot com message function, but didn't receive any reply.

I have stayed several times. staff are very nice and welcoming. just like coming home

The room was really nice with tatami mats in one end of the room and western style beds in the other. Toilet and shower were separate which is also nice. Transfer from the nearby Hineno Station was very efficient and punctual; the van arrived just 10 minutes after we called the reception.

Great onsen and good food at on-site restaurant

Really good introduction to traditional Japanese breakfast with many delicious courses, and a great Onsen in a very quiet location. The hotel itself was very clean, friendly and comfortable. All in all a good find on booking.com, which we very much recommend.

We had not appreciated that, despite its name, the hotel is not located anywhere near the airport. We travelled from the airport to the hotel by train and then on foot. The hotel provided a good shuttle the next day back to the train station. We do not know whether the hotel would have picked us up from the airport - we never asked. We would certainly stay again though.

We had a flight cancelled and picked this hotel at random. It was a very cute spa. Desk staff were extremely friendly, easy going and helpful. Shuttle to train station. If not dealing with the Crowdstrike disaster it would have been interesting to try the baths.
